📢 PhD Position Opening - Applied Mathematics (University of Waterloo)
I’m excited to announce an opening for a PhD student in my lab in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. This PhD position involves a research focus on quantum many-body physics, combinatorial optimization and language models.
I’m looking for a motivated student with a strong background in machine learning and physics, a passion for coding, and a curiosity-driven mindset.

October 19th, 2025 for a start date in Fall 2026 (The deadline for the informal application has passed).

Important Notes:
- A Master’s degree (completed or in the process of completion) is required to be eligible for this position.
- Duration of PhD position: 4 years.

Ideal Candidate Profile (as an example):
- Solid background in machine learning and physics.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
